North West Amateur Golf League
How it works
The league
- To join the league you must be an amateur golfer over the age of 18 and have an official club handicap of 24 or under.
- There is an initial £30.00 membership fee which gains you access to the league and all of its benefits.
- These benefits include being able to book your spot to compete at any of the events we host throughout the year.
- Members can join the league at any time during the season and there is no minimum amount of competitions you are required to play
- You will benefit from discounted green fees at these events and the chance to win great prizes.
The Events
- The season will run throughout the year with the aim to host 1 competition every 1 to 2 weeks.
- Events will usually take place on midweek days to take advantage of off peak budget friendly rates and ensure good availability at the courses.
- Each event will be a singles stableford competition
- Weekly email newsletters will be sent out with news, details of upcoming events, results from previous competitions and league standings.
The End Goal
- In each event you play you will score league points depending on where you finish.
- Your total league points at the end of the season will be made up of your best 5 results combined.
- The more events you play in, the better chance you have of increasing your total points and finishing on top of the league.
- At the end of the season the top ranked league players will compete at a grand final event for the chance to win the prestigious league winners title and a golf holiday!
