How it works

The league

  • To join the league you must be an amateur golfer over the age of 18 and have a handicap of 24 or under. This can be through  a golf club or an on-line handicap provider like i-golf. 
  • You can become a 'pay as you go' member for free or a 'season long' playing member for just £30 giving you access to reduced competition fees.
  • Members can join the league at any time during the season and there is no minimum amount of competitions you are required to play

The Events

  • The season will run throughout the summer with the aim to host 1 competition every 2 weeks.
  • Events will usually take place on midweek days to take advantage of off peak budget friendly rates and ensure good availability at the courses.
  • Each event will be a singles stableford competition
  • Weekly email newsletters will be sent out with news, details of upcoming events, results from previous competitions and league standings.

The End Goal

  • In each event you play you will score league points no matter where you finish.
  • Your total league points at the end of the season will be made up of your best 5 results combined.
  • The more events you play in, the better chance you have of increasing your total points and finishing on top of the league.
  • At the end of the season the top ranked 24 league players will compete at the Grand Final for the chance to win the prestigious league winners title and a £1000 golf holiday voucher!
